My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is a one year old guinea pig who needs a good, experienced home. She is healthy but very nervous and shy, which is why we have her listed as "special needs."
Her owners found out after adopting her as a baby that they are very allergic to the hay and other items that Lily needs in her day-to-day life. Sadly that limits the amount of attention she gets, which contributes to her shyness. Lily is a black and white Abyssinian, with medium hair.
Lily would do well with a home that has experience with guinea pigs and understands how to work with her to ease her fears. She is not mean. She just isn't used to very much noise and activity.
Cocoa lives with Lily and they like to have their cages side-by-side so they can see each other, but they do not always do well in the same cage. They get along OK when both are out of their cages. We aren't sure yet, but do not think that these girls have to be adopted together.
