Renee is an adorable 7 months old Shar Pei/German Shepherd mix. She loves all dogs and even likes cats too, although the ones in her foster home don't share the same mutual feeling. It would be best for her to go to a cat-free home unless the cat or cats in the home, are very accustomed to having larger dogs around. Renee will grow to a larger size so please consider this. On the other hand, Renee desperately needs a doggie playmate. She just adores other dogs. She would love to romp and play for hours if she had a buddy to share the fun with. She is just a big baby right now and her only goal in life is having fun, besides being loved. Renee’s foster mom tried to “play” with her, but Renee thinks people are for hugs and cuddles only. She can be very shy at first, but opens up in no time. It's been a big life change for Renee when her owner had to surrendered her due to personal issues according to the shelter. She does seem as though she was very loved in the past and that is why we feel she has such a sweet, loving disposition. She follows her foster mom around the house everywhere. Renee is house broken and will let you know when she needs to go out she also knows some basic commands. She is a very smart girl for only being 7 months and willing to learn anything you would take the time to teach her. She sleeps on her own bed next to her foster mom’s bed. We’re working on her leash skills and crate training. Renee would make a fun, loving addition to any household.
