Did you know the name GIDGET is a combination of “girl” and “midget?” It’s also the perfect name for this short-haired brown tabby. Gidget is very petite, has long legs, a long tail and a svelte body. She looks and acts like an older kitten, even though she is almost a year old. Like her TV-movie namesake, Gidget is very friendly, very spunky, and full of adventurous fun. Gidget is always on the go––she is very active and very playful. While exploring, she will do a frequent “drive by” leg rub to let you know she appreciates you being around, but there is no sitting still on someone’s lap for this gal. However, she loves to be cuddled in your arms or held over your shoulder like a baby and lets you know how much she loves it by revving up her purr motor. Gidget is very gentle, keeping her claws in at all times. She can also be vocal and has quite a repertoire of meows and chips––she’s very communicative. Gidget will be a welcome addition to any household that wants a playful, active kitty.
