My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Chloe. Yes, she is just as precious as she looks. She is about 4 or 5
years old and weighs about 23 pounds. She is playful outdoors with other dogs
and is not too playful indoors. She is pretty quiet most of the time. She loves
everyone she meets, other dogs, people and kids. With cats, she may ignore,
play or chase a little but she is only playing. Her foster mom took her to a
local nursing home to visit the residents and she was the most polite and
calm angel you could imagine. She really brought cheer to many people. She is
totally house trained when she uses a doggie door, but has significant
trouble when she only goes out on leash. She walks fine on leash, just seems
to feel too confined to do business. She must have a fenced yard to play in
and feel comfortable doing her business. She is a cuddlier and loves to sleep
on the bed beside her person. She is not a bed hog. She stays put all night.
She likes to sit near someone on the couch but does not insist on being too
close. She is pretty independent and if she has a doggie door to a fenced
yard, she is as low maintenance as it gets. She is quiet most of the time,
but when she sees anything out of the ordinary outside, she barks. She really likes
looking out the windows and cuddling on the couch. She knows sit and will sit when you pick up her leash. She is very obedient to any request that she understands. She is sensitive to corrections
and can get her feelings hurt. She is a beautiful red with light tones on her belly and she has white feet. She has very expressive eyes that seem to say "It's all OK". Her hair is short and soft. She has only been in a crate for traveling and she did fine. She is loose in the home and
is completely trust worthy. No puppy antics or destruction. She adapts pretty easily
to new people and situations. She is fairly low energy and will fit well into a family that's not too rowdy. She is content with light exercise in the yard. She will be happiest if she has a dog playmate even if they live near by and not in the same home. She is spayed and fully vaccinated and ready to become part of one lucky family.
