Message from her foster Mom: When I first met Miss Emmee Lou she was just a bunch of matted fur. No personality, no response, no anything. She would not eat food out of a dish and pooped and peed in her crate at night. I didn't hold much hope for her getting adopted. BUT!! once she had a cracked tooth that was abscessed out and such a severe ear infection that she needed 3 different meds for it she started to come alive. Poor muffin was in so much pain she didn't want to even move. She is becoming quite the little cutie. She not only walks, she prances, she not only responds to me, she is starting to play, she has learned to eat from a bowl, and requests scratches more and more frequently. I see her little personality coming out a little more each day now that she knows she is safe. She is getting much better with her potty habits, but is still a work is progress. If you want to meet a silly little gal who is just learning to be a dog, Emmee Lou is for you, she will bring a lot of joy to the right person who has the patience to watch her grow into the dog she was meant to be.
