My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie was surrendered to us in the most neglected condition we have ever seen. She was flea and parasite invested, she has cataracts in both eyes, untreated ear infections that were so bad that she has lost her hearing, a grade 4 heart murmur, a wound on her leg that needed surgery and a foxtail had dug its way into her skin that needed a surgery too. All that said, we have healed her now and she is a new dog! This sweet little girl needs a home where she can live out her golden years. We think she would make a really great company for a senior citizen, who would like the company of a little dog without a long term commitment. We believe Gracie is about 8 since her teeth are in good condition, but due to her neglect she has aged beyond her years. That said she has just recovered from two surgeries, so she could still regain some of her youth. Gracie does not require much. She likes to go for slow walks and snuggle by your side. She uses pee pads, so you can take her outside or just change her pads. Lately, she has been communicating her desire to go outside, so this is big progress. She is very sweet natured and will make a great companion animal. All we want for Gracie is to feel loved for once in her life. Her life was miserable and she deserves so much better.
