My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue Girl is a 4 year old spayed female Blue Tick Coonhound mix. She gets along great with other dogs, kids, and even cats! She is a large breed dog, 70 lbs, and has medium energy. She needs work on her housetraining as she was previously a mostly outside dog. She is a great girl! Come down and see if Blue Girl is right for your family!

$150 Adoption Fee for all Dogs and Puppies. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a heartworm/lymes test (for adults), microchip, and all age appropriate vaccinations. (Puppies are too young for the test but will be started on preventative.)

SHELTER HOURS: 1:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday - Thursday; 12:00pm – 4:00pm Friday and Saturday; 1pm-4pm Sunday; Closed Monday. We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or outside the state of Virginia. The application process is completed in person at the shelter.
