Katie is a lovely tri-color rough collie girl. We think that she is around 5 - 6 years old. She is very sweet, gentle and LOVES to get attentions from people & spend time with her humans. When he was picked up by an animal services, her coat was badly matted, so they had to shave her coat completely... Her coat is slowly growing back, and she will get her beautiful long coat back soon enough.
She has arthritis on her hips due to the hip dysplasia, according to a veterinarian. However, the vet does not think she requires any pain medication at this time, but to give her glucosamine daily to see if this can help her to be more comfortable. The prospective adopter must continue giving her glucosamine daily to help her improve her health.
She is house trained, crate trained, up-to-date on all the shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and has been on the heartworm & flea preventives. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out the adoption application and mail it back to us. You can download the adoption application from our website at www.CollieRescueofTampaBay.com.
