My story

Meet Norton! Norton is a special guy. We met him at Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, UT last year, and were surprised to hear that he's still there over a year later. This little guy stole our hearts, so we're working with BFAS to try to facilitate an adoption for him through Jasmine's House.

He's been in sanctuary for too long – and this sweet dude deserves a beautiful home. He's just a little guy–weighing in at a petite 30 pounds, and he won't get any bigger.

Norton arrived at Best Friends following a bust on a dog-fighting ring. He can be shy when he meets new people, but his trainers and caregivers are continuing to work daily to overcome his shyness. One thing he doesn't have to work on is personality - he's already got tons of it! He loves tug toys and playing with other dogs. And, once he gets over his initial shyness, he's full of fun and games with his people, too!

Would you like to learn more about Norton? For the right home, we'll get him transported to northern Utah and provide training and behavior support to the foster or adoptive family through his transition into a home.
