My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spanky! This loveable fella is just under 2 years old and sweet as pie. Spanky finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. His person passed away unexpectedly and left the widower overwhelmed with the care of the dogs. The other resident male dog has not adjusted well to the loss of their "mom" and has become rather possessive over the widower - making the situation bad for Spanky.

- Spanky is neutered, heartworm negative, vaccinated, and microchipped.
- Super loveable
- Good with other submissive dogs (He is currently boarded and doing fine with all dogs he is coming into contact with.)
- Good with kids & cats
- Loves belly rubs & car rides

Spanky is currently boarded near Mansfield, OH. His adoption fee is partially sponsored and is $125.

MAWL's dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm-lyme-ehrlichia tested if old enough and up to date on vaccines prior to going to their new homes. We select our adopters through an application process. We require vet and personal references as well as a home visit. We prefer to adopt our pets to Ohio residents.
