Miniature Poodle, silver, Female, 9 yrs.
OWNER TURN IN: While it may be sad to see a 9 1/2 year old poodle at a shelter, we are actually happy to give her a better second half of her life. Gigi spent her entire life in an outdoor kennel and was never allowed inside. She is very timid in new situations and has not experienced much outside of her kennel. Thankfully, Gigi has spent the past two weeks in a great HOPE foster homes that specializes in rehabilitating small dogs like Gigi. (One of their dogs was another outside- only dog who loved their home so much, she decided to stay!) Gigi's foster family says that progress is slow but she is gaining more confidence every day. She also seems to find comfort in the company of their other two dogs. Please call the shelter to talk with an animal specialist and arrange a meeting with Gigi.
