My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our handsome boy Chido is ready to find a family of his own. His foster family says he is simple guy who loves to play with other dogs, get belly rubs and and go for nice long walks. Who could ask for more? His story is not entirely a sad one. Thanks to the dedicated effort, patience and determination of the Puerto Vallarta animal shelter staff, Chido survived a serious illness and got strong enough to start a new life and wait to be part of a loving family. He will need a home without cats, rabbits etc. He was one of the longest residents in the shelter, and sadly not the most popular choice among those who adopt, but he was lucky enough to be fostered and have the opportunity to at least keep dreaming of belonging to somebody one day!

The illness (distemper) meant he had to remain in quarantine for many months and he became quite sad. Once he was moved to his foster home his spirits were renewed and he's loving life now. He has a minor residual symptom of the illness which has left him with a rhythmic jaw movement, that we think is quite cute. It will lesson over time and by no means, should anyone think he is anything but 100% healthy!

This lovely boy deserves his happy ending now. Is it with you?
