My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Scarlet. I came to the rescue with two little babies, Parker and Mia. We are so grateful that a really nice lady found us and saved us. I am a very pretty, shorthaired tortie who is about 2-3 years old. I did a great job raising my babies and now I am ready to find my forever family. I am super affectionate and friendly. I love to be petted and to be near people. I am litterbox trained and I love to talk. I will chirp at the squirrels outside the window and fall asleep in the rays of sun coming through the glass. If a loving kitty like me is the right pet for you, please give me a chance. Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

    Adoption and Foster Care Application

    Adoption Process:
Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
