My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All AAF dogs are spayed/neutered and vaccinated (includes Rabies, DHPP, & Bordetella) before leaving the shelter. Those dogs over 6 months of age are microchipped before leaving and those under 6 months of age can be brought back to the shelter once they reach the appropriate age to be microchipped. Microchipping is included in the adoption fee. Those dogs over 8 months of age are heartworm tested and are started on preventative, and those dogs under 8 months of age are not heartworm tested, as they are not old enough yet and heartworm testing becomes the adopter's responsibility. The adoption fee for puppies under 5 months of age is $150, as they require more rounds of vaccines and the adoption fee for dogs over 5 months of age is $135. Please read over the "Adoption Procedure" on our website (www.aafpets.org) under the "Adopt a Pet" section before coming to look for your new furry friend.
