My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Izzy
Sex: Female
Breed: Chinese Crested Yorkie Mix
Age: Approx 4 years
Size: 10 lbs

Meet Izzy! Izzy is wonderful chinese crested yorkie mix. She is so quite and just loveable. She is very shy and still working on not being afraid of people, but she has come a long way in the two weeks we have had her. She is working on leash training, but I think its just a matter of her building up that trust with a human. She is pee pad trained and is working on going outside to do her business. She has not had an accident in the house since her first couple days here. She loves to be pet and snuggled once she trusts you and will sit with you for hours.

Izzy is very well mannered, doesn't chew or scratch things. We have not heard her bark once since we have had her. The only time we hear her whine is first thing in the morning when she knows we are awake, still upstairs getting ready and we haven't gone downstairs to say good morning to her. Izzy is not a fan of other dogs but will tolerate but she will tolerate them - she has never shown aggression towards other dogs. Once Izzy feels safe with you, she will try to get affection by running up and licking the back of our arm to pay attention to her. Its so cute! Izzy would likely be better in a house without small children and other animals. She is quite skiddish with fast movement.

Izzy is an amazing companion, so easy to take care of. So sweet and just wants to be loved. Izzy will need patient family who is willing build trust with her.
