Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hooch and his little friend Benji Girl (who can also be seen on this website) have a very sad story. Their human mom died, and their dad could no longer take care of them, so he brought them to PAWS. Hooch doesn't quite understand why he was romping and playing in his happy home one day, and the next day he was in a shelter. He kept telling us that he didn't belong at PAWS and asking to go home. We have repeatedly explained his situation to him, and we think he understands now why he can't go back to his old home, but there is a brand new home and family out there waiting just for him! He says he is ready to move on now, and he is so anxious to meet his new family. He is a sweet little Schnauzer mix, and he was 4 years old when he came to PAWS on 10-28-14. He's just as cute as a bug's ear, and he's a very lovable guy! He does well with other dogs, and he'll be a great new best friend and companion! Come meet Hooch today and take him home with you! You will be doing a grand thing for both yourself and for him!
