Fitzie is a shy 3 year old girl. Fitzie was raised around 4 babies and young kids and as a result she tends to be a bit skittish and shy. She prefers lying in the sun on top of the couch and watching out the window. She loves her crate and prefers staying in it while her people are gone and sleeps in it at night. She can be a bit anxious if anyone comes near her toy or food while she is engaged with them. We are hoping this is something which will improve once she is in a home with less noise and confusion of numerous small children. She is also nervous about car riding, and the first few walks with a stranger, but once she becomes more used to new people she is much more relaxed. Poor Fitzie just needs a quieter and more relaxed home with adults and time to play with her toy or chew bone in the sun without fear of children scaring her. Once she is used to you she will shyly greet quieter dogs on a walk, but prefers to have a home without other rambunctious dogs. Sweet Fitzie needs a new home where she can breathe deep and relax.
