My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This big goof ball is Larry, a 5 month old, 50lb. male Shepherd/Rottie/Bernese Mountain Dog mix (our best guess). We also guess he will grow to around 80 lbs. Larry is originally one of 6 pups born to a stray mom in Kentucky. We took mom and all pups into rescue and unfortunately, they had arrived with distemper (mom too since she was never vaccinated in her life). We sadly lost 2 of the puppies but all the rest of the family survived. All were quarantined for 90 days to allow the virus to run it's full course (i.e. so no one is contagious anymore). Now, this family is looking for furever homes. Larry is a big goof ball and known to be the 'mischievous' one of the group. Maybe he's just clumsily curious.. lol Larry is working on his house-training skills and currently uses puppy pads. If you have room in your home and heart for this big teddy bear, we welcome your inquiry and application. All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
