My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spot: 2 yrs; Active Companion/Companion; Border Collie/Lab; Smooth Coat Black/White; 65 lbs looks more like a 50 lbs pup. Spot is such a soft fun girl, her smile and tail wag says it all! She is being surrendered to rescue due to a divorce and a final move that does not allow dogs. Her whole life is being uprooted but she is such a balanced pup I know she will transition well in her next wonderful home! Spot plays really well with other dogs big and small; shares her toys; good with children and car rides; has a nice fetch drive for ball and Frisbee; loves to swim; walks well on the leash and can take more physical activities that is offered to her or less with more time and companionship with her humans. She would enjoy living rural, suburban, quite possibly the urban life as long as there are walks and dog parks to play with her people and dogs. I think she would do splendid as a pet therapy dog and she is a wonderful travel companion if your job is on the road. Spot is very easy to work with this young Border mix enjoys being close to her people and pets in the home including cats but NO chickens please. If Spot was in a home where someone worked longer hours she would need more exercise in the AM and PM but can relax in her crate nicely or loose with a comfy dog bed; very nice house manners; good with people and children. Spot is available for Foster to Adopt or Adoptive home, her adoption donation is $175 fully vetted/micro chipped/on monthly Trifexis preventative and comes with a prescription for Trifexis for the next year! There is an application to fill out and home visit where applicable.
