My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BeBe is a Yorkiepoo ( intentional Miniature Poodle/Yorkie cross) about a year old. She weighs 8.5 pounds, is house, crate and leashed trained, comes when she's called, loves everyone she meets. BeBe loves to play and loves to cuddle, ride in the car and sleep in bed.

BeBe came to us from another rescuer who happened to be in the right place at the right time. BeBe's former owners had traded their pit bull puppy for her and then found out that they could not have her in their apartment. What we know about BeBe is that the person that had her before they, had also gotten her from someone else. WOW, how sad!

When BeBe came to us she was timid and loud noises scared her. She vomited fake fingernails, used band-aids and large pieces of plastic. She did not eat for 3 days. She needed to be reassured that she was safe and loved. We spent several days holding her every chance we got. Lucky for her it was football and Jim was ensconced in the TV room.

In no time BeBe was with the program; happy, playful, snuggly. BeBe loves to be in your lap. Is very name responsive and very smart.

BeBe's coat will require grooming. She came to us having been cut with scissors and we have left her coat so that her new owner can grow it out if they would like and then cut her as they would like. If we were to cut her now in order to even up her coat she would be very short. BeBe's coat is unbelievably soft, not very curly and does not seems to mat easily.

BeBe's adoption will require a fenced yard, someone who is not working 8 plus hour days; someone who works from home, works very part time or is retired. BeBe is still a puppy and will need a lot of play time and a commitment to continue to socialize her so that she is a well trained and socialized adult.

BeBe is eating a balanced raw diet and we are asking that she go into a home that will care for her in a less traditional, more holistic manner. Being half Poodle she has a higher than normal risk of problems due to over vaccination and commercial flea and heart worm products. We would be happy to speak with you concerning her care.

This is a SUPER little puppy; smart, engaging, playful, loving. She's been a lot of fun to have in rescue. She has not been with us very long and we would not normally be placing a dog this soon but there is nothing that BeBe can get from rescue. What BeBe needs is the perfect home. Someone will be very lucky to add this little girl to their life!
