My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Hugo. I am a very, very affectionate & handsome Marmalade cat--orange and white tabby, not yet 12 months old. I have an IQ of 190 :o) and love my foster parents' Rottweiler girl. I am FEARLESS. I am a very loving, affectionate, and energetic boy. I am medium size, about 9-10 pounds. My foster parents rescued me when I was 4 months old and cannot keep a kitty permanently, so they are looking for just the right home for me. I have a say-so in this process of course!

I am perfectly litter-trained, and am current on all my vaccinations. I am an indoor-only cat, and I love it. Love to play with furry, feathery, rattle-y, jingly, mousey cat toys. I get along only with cat-loving indoor dogs who like indoor cats, and often play with my foster parents’ big Rottweiler Zoey. I would be happiest as an only cat as I domineer and can make life hard for another cat and want to be the only cat in your life--we experimented with another boy foster cat who was unhappy being with me.

I LOVE people. I am a purr-monster! I will greet you at the door, thrilled to see you! I am happy to sleep on your chest or lap if you let me, and will wrap my paw around your shoulders if I sleep with you. I know the sound of a bag of my favorite type of treats, and will follow you into my room, happy as a clam.
