My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kai is an amazing senior boy who found himself at a shelter in Columbus OH at 10-12 years old. He had likely had a family prior to this because he completely shut down in the shelter and it was truly heartbreaking to see. We pulled him from the shelter and immediately saw the change in his eyes from scared to reassured that he IS loved. We have gotten to know Kai and have found that his ideal home would be one without kitties. He is great with other dogs of all sizes and absolutely adores kids. He just lights up when he sees them!!!! Kai does need someone who is home often, maybe a stay at home parent. retiree, work from home etc. He just gets anxious when left alone for too long, probably because he is worried his people won't return. So if you are looking for a sweet (boy, is he SWEET!), loving, handsome guy and are home often... Kai is for you! He just wants a nice relaxing home where he can spend his days snoozing and getting belly rubs.
