Hello this is Cooper! He is a Great Dane and would prefer a home with Great Dane experience! If you have no great Dane experience you will be required to go to positive based obedience with Cooper.
Big fan of: Food! Cooper came to us 10 pounds underweight and he has been slowly putting on weight here. He loves food but don't let him get overweight as this breed needs to stay at a good weight to keep their bones healthy.
Not a fan of: He can be a little head shy and like most Great Danes, he can be very nervous. He does not like people leaning over him. He can startle easy but he looks to his people for reassurance.
Dream Home: Cooper is good with other dogs but he is not a dog park type dog. He will need to go on regular walks and need to have good muscle tone. Great Danes are prone to health issues because of their large size. Cooper is middle aged and should get a high quality diet with glucosamine for healthy bones.
