Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Seeking a prospective owner with a gentle, kind, and caring heart for a special kitty in desperate need of a loving home. Meet "One-Eye," a quiet and sweet adult female kitty. She had a rough start to life, as a stray who was beat up by some of the other neighborhood cats. A kind cat-lover cared for her and even paid for surgery to have her right eye removed after it was injured. Finally, after learning to trust her care-giver, she was able to be brought into a house and adopted out to a loving home for the past 2 years. However, during a routine blood test prior to a dental procedure, it was determined that she is a diabetic. With a heavy heart, her previous owner realized that she was unable to administer her necessary twice daily insulin injections. Dr. Buchholz, graciously offered to attempt to find placement for her in a home or rescue. We are reaching out to anyone who might be interested in a Special Needs Adoption. We know it takes a special person with a special heart to open their home up to a kitty with medical needs. To inquire about adopting "One-Eye," please call and ask for Stacey.
