Hi, my new name is Chevy. I guess they gave me that name because I was found under a car out in the cold. From the looks on the people's faces, I must have looked pretty rough. I was out on my own for what seemed like forever and my beautiful gray coat became very matted, so bad that I had to get a haircut, ok, the people had to shave me. I must admit, I am a bit cooler that what I am used to, but I am confident that my fur will grow back and I will be as handsome as ever. As you can see from the photo, I enjoy snuggling with my new people friends. I relax and just listen to their hearts beat, it is very soothing. With all of that being said, I am very thankful to have a roof over my head, warm blankets, food, water and people to love me, but I'm not so fond of the cage. I know this is only temporary, so won't you please drop by and visit me? Just think of me as a diamond in the rough with my current haircut.
