Here's what the humans have to say about me:
****UPDATE 4/5/15***
This lil girl is progressing with leaps and bounds. Took her on her first trip to the park and wow! She was amazing. Her come recall is getting better day by day. Is still a little slow on come with distractions, but hey! She IS still a baby! :) The kids walked her on leash with no trouble at all. Ducks seemed to be of great interest, but 'leave it' was obeyed and we walked on with her self correcting. Other 'less behaved' dogs lunging and barking at her held mild interest, but leave it once again paid off. She walked calmly and politely by other dogs of all kinds. She loved running off leash with the kids after a brief hesitation of... 'oh wow - really??? I can go??!!.. was very cute her hesitation, look back to me for confirmation, then off she went. We had a great day at the park! To adopt this beauty, please email awolrescue@gmail.com or kkirby@aerotire.com for an application.
***UPDATE 3/23/15***
This girl never ceases to amaze me. Took her on a road trip this weekend and she did wonderfully. Loves everyone and all dogs. Learned little yappy dogs sometimes are not friendly and that 'leave it' means just that... she wanted to play, but would walk by the little dog (who wasn't so nice) off leash and leave her alone. She got to where she didn't even pay the lil yapper any attention and would re-direct herself. Played for hours on the rug by the fireplace with her own toys and was totally self contained. What a doll!!
****UPDATE 3/15/15 ***
Piper is doing awesome! She is learning come, sit, leave it, crate etc. and responding wonderful. She is doing awesome on leash and sleeps all night in her crate. However, she had MUCH rather snuggle with you all night long! She has recovered from her spay last week and is ready to romp and play again! She has the most ador-a-bull under-bite!
Piper is the sweetest, laid back little snuggle bug EVER! She was left in the men's restroom at one of the local pet store chains... poor baby! AWOL took her in 3/1 and she fell right in with all of the other doggies. She 5-6 months old and has made remarkable progress in just one week. She will potty outside for you on command (but remember she IS a pup and still needs to go out frequently) she has learned to sit, lay down, fetch, potty, outside and come. Piper rides well in the car and loves to go places. She does pretty good on the leash but still gets scared sometimes and needs a minute to regroup and follow you. She does well in the crate and sleeps all night. If you would like more info on Piper, please email awolrescue@gmail.com or kkirby@aerotire.com and we will be happy to assist you.
