Hi! My name is Dash and I am a super awesome, lovable, amazing boy looking for a forever home! I just turned one in January so I am still a puppy all the way. I am full of energy, extremely active, and love to run, jump and play. I would really enjoy a new family that has lots of time to spend with me and make sure I get enough exercise to keep me happy and healthy. I have a high metabolism and so my appetite is quite healthy too!
I am a blue & white medium sized Italian Greyhound (although my foster mom thinks I’m closer to a black color), and I weigh about 13 pounds. I am quite tall and leggy, which means I can really run fast, so be sure to always keep me on a leash outside of the house! I can also jump super high and can be an escape artist if you have holes in your fence, so keep a close eye on me and be sure to baby-proof your yard before I come home to you!
I am a sweet boy who loves to be close to you (a Velcro dog) and can get anxious when you leave me home alone, so it would be best for me to have a playmate at home (male or female, I’m not picky), although I don’t think the older dogs like my energy as much. I also love kids, but I may be a bit too much for the younger humans to handle.
My favorite activities are eating, running in the backyard, and playing fetch with squeaky toys. Although I am still a puppy, you will be happy to know that I am not a “chewer” and I have not destroyed anything in my foster home! I could really use an obedience class when you adopt me, because I should learn some basic manners, but other than that I am a super fun boy and my foster family will be really sad to see me go!
