My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ziggy came to us as a stray with his brother Zeppelin. These two just showed up on someone's property on the rez and didn't want to leave so they were brought to us and no owner has come looking for them. Ziggy is about 1.5 years old and someone has taught this young dog to "sit." He was good on the leash until his foot got tangled in the leash, then he got a bit frantic and pulled. He is a confident dog, he is smart, and catches on quickly. He was too rough with his brother, and we are waiting until he gets neutered to introduce him to other dogs. He ignored the shelter cats, and allowed us to take his food, to touch him all over, and to hug/squeeze him. He is bold, and doesn't show us any fear. He could be a great family dog, but he wil definitely need a strong and benevolent leader, and if you have another dog, a female would be preferred.

Pupdate - Ziggy has a wonderful energy level, is great in the play yard, quiet and relaxed, and doesn't fence fight with the other dogs in adjacent play yards. He likes training time and is progressing very nicely! He had a play date with a female dog and they had a wonderful time! Ziggy is a great playmate. He absolutely loves petting and massage. He just earned the nickname Uncle Ziggy for his stellar skills with puppies.

Ziggys adoption fee is $150 and includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance, and custom engraved ID tag.
