My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amigo came to us as an owner surrender. They said he was too big for their home. He is only 1.5 years old and the previous owners said he was a Labrador Retriever mix. We don't see the lab as much as we see the coloring of an Australian Shepherd. He has a very silky soft double coat. It is very evident to us that Amigo has never had any training or boundaries. However, he is great, great, great with kids of all ages. He likes playing with dogs and displays no signs of aggression. He was great with his body handling, and did not guard his food from us. He likes treats, and we believe that he will catch on to training quickly. He pulls on the leash, can be pushy at doorways and gates, jumps up on us, and was an outdoor only dog, although he never marked or pottied indoors. He loves tug toys, has a great confidence, and seems to be unflappable. He loves using his nose and will excel at nose work and scent games. So if you want a great family dog and are up for some basic training, this handsome dog could be your guy!

Pupdate - Amigo does not like cats!

Pupdate - Amigo is a water dog! He just loved having a pool to play in and even enticed his playmate to join him.

Amigos adoption fee is $125 and includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip,nurse vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance and custom engraved ID tag.
