Meet Nate! Nate is an adorable and sweet cairn terrier mix that has had a rough beginning in life at the hands of neglectful, uncaring owners. Yet, he still wants to show you love. Unlike people, dogs have the ability to give unconditional love and forgiveness. Nate is full of it, sweet, loving, listens when given commands and he is a good kisser too! He was being brought into the San Bernardino Shelter when some rescue friends intercepted him while looking for a rescue to take him in. (The video titled "Little Man" can be viewed on our FaceBook page, but warning it will wreck your heart.) We stepped up and we are so happy we did! This guy now has the chance to be treated the way he deserves to be treated. Nate has lived with kids and does fine with other dogs. He is a terrier mix, 12, lbs, and a little over a year old. He will need a calm, supportive environment with a secure fenced yard. We neutered Nate and we have made sure he has had all of his vaccinations and heart worm test which came back negative. He was examined by our vet and given a health certificate. We also microchipped him. Adoption Fee covers his cost and transportation from CA. No out of state adoptions. Fee: $250
