My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Callie was saved from a kill shelter. She is approximately a year old and is 47lbs. She is a great girl who unfortunately has had a rough start to life that has left her cautious of new situations and with some anxiety about being alone. She is progressing great over the last months and has made significant strides in realizing that the past is behind her and that it's only the good life from here on out!
Callie does still have some anxiety and her furever home would have to be patient in understanding her and her fears about new people or situations. She's just extremely shy until you get to know her and takes time to adapt to new situations and people.
She ABSOLUTELY has to have another dog in the home with her. They help her to feel more secure and she will follow their lead when it comes to situations :)
She is a very loyal girl who just wants a home of her own so she can build trust and security! She is extremely smart and eager to learn. She loves to play fetch and is learning confidence everyday!
