My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lexi is so adorable! You must meet this sweet Greyhound who will celebrate her first birthday on July 25, 2014. She has had many interesting experiences during her young life. We hope that she has forgotten this incident--but at some point before she was weaned--her Momma sat on her and broke her back leg. It didn't heal up and was getting worse--so the adoption group took her in and major orthopedic surgery was done that involved the placement of three pins with internal and external hardware. Yikes! But, little Lexi was a trooper and healed up after a couple of watchful months where she was restricted to "no running". As soon as she was pronounced as well enough to run--she took off and hasn't stopped. Sweet puppy--she just loves to run and loves to play. Lexi has played and lived with all sizes of dogs--big and small--her main requirement is she needs a buddy to play with. She has a very high play drive--after all, she's still a puppy. Lexi has not shown an adverse reaction to cats--we think she will be cat-trainable. There is a school-aged child in her foster home and she gets along just fine with him.
