My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little doll was part of a puppy mill rescue we did in 2008. Cinnamon was one of 23 young Poms that we saved. Many had died from freezing to death in the winter or from starvation/dehydration in the summer. Cinni was born on 1/09/2008 and this little pup was one of the lucky ones that had their freedom ride to us in the Bay Area! She was spayed and evaluated and found her forever home, or so we thought! Fast forward to 2015, 7 years later, and her owner called us and said they were returning her and that Cinni should be with a nice little old lady. I reminded the woman that she was a little old lady, but, she meant another little old lady!! The woman and her husband had retired and were going on a cruise. We offered to baby sit while they were gone but to no avail! Poor little Cinni was no longer wanted. She was traumatized by this and is slowly coming along. Cinnamon was an only doggie, has never been around cats or children. She loves to go for walks, rides well in the car, loves to watch TV while sitting close to her foster mom and is a great watch doggie! We had her checked by our vet, did blood work, dental and an ultra sound. Cinni has thickening of her bladder walls and we started her on prednisone, which she may need to stay on for the rest of her life. She also had 3 mild seizures but our vet said we could wait before giving her meds for that. She has not had a seizure for over 6 weeks. But, her blood work, heart and lungs are all great! She is a little fearful of men but is warming up to her kind foster dad. Do you have room in your heart and home for this little 7 pound girl? She sure hopes so and is waiting for your call and application! Cinni will be at Maddie's Adoption Days, Saturday, 5/30/2015, Berkeley Animal Care and Control so get your application in now! Cinnamon's tax deductible adoption donation is $350. 510-691-2780
