Ritz and his daughter Bella are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They are purebred Ragdolls from a Bay Area breeder whose owners lost their home and had to surrender them. They are gorgeous cats with the most luxurious coats, and Ritz has the cutest little hourglass-shaped blaze on his nose. Ritz is the shyer of the two, and he waits until you go to bed and turn the lights off before he jumps up for a love-fest. He needs about 10 minutes to push on you, rub against you, and roll over for belly rubs, then it's back to the safety of the closet.

Both kitties are quite shy and the owner mentioned their favorite place to be was in his closet, so now my closet is their favorite place. Their old home had other kitties and a few dogs so it was quite rambunctious and too much for these sweet souls. Even here in a quieter home with just one dog and other kitties, they still enjoy their closet solitude. Ritz accepts other kitties, but he acts as though he's waiting for them to beat him up, so he is quite reticent when they get too close to him.

Due to their shy gentle natures, Rita and Bella's ideal home would have one or two quiet adults with no other pets or children around. I feel they would blossom in that environment.
