My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Harry. I was found wandering the streets in Modesto. I had been pretty beaten up by somebody I loved and trusted. My lower tooth had been pushed up out of it's socket and most of the root was exposed and another tooth had died from trauma so both of them needed to be removed. I had a hard time eating because I was hurting so bad. My rescuers had my 2 bad teeth removed and now I'm a new dog! I love to run and play and want to trust someone again. My greatest wish is to find a special someone that has room in their heart to love me as much as I will love them and not ever hurt me. I might be a bit shy at first but I will be unconditionally devoted to that special person to the end of my life. I would like someone that is home all day as I will follow you from room to room and be your shadow. I love to go on walks every day and I love car rides. I will gladly go everywhere you take me. My rescuers say that I'm a great dog and will make someone an excellent companion. Will you be my special person?

All of our dogs come spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heart worm tested and on medication, flea prevention and microchipped. We require an application before scheduling a meeting. Potential adopters of Harry must have experience with or knowledge of the special needs of dachshunds. Please do your homework on this breed before contacting us. Adoption fee is $150.
