MEET GEORGE!
Handsome, lovable and sweet, this pit/boxer mix has totally charmed his foter family. They adore him, the adults, the kids. He simply LOVES his humans!
George is a high energy, playful boy who loves balls, sticks, ice cubes, car rides, kongs, and at the end of the day getting good rubs on his head by his people while he tries to figure out how to fit on his person’s lap. He loves his walks, and will look back at his person frequently to make sure you are still there. He is fine with other dogs with intros.
George is very crate trained and will hang out with the crate door open. Housebroken, he is learning the word “hold” and knows “sit” (especially if he gets a treat!), knows the word “play”, is leash trained and is also learning the word “drop”. He doesn’t mind a bath, and will let you rub his belly, look at his feet, lift him to get in the car. A city dog that is now a rural dog, he enjoys getting his feet wet in rivers and streams and anytime he can he can splash about a bit.
George is the sweetest boy looking for his forever family that will love him, give him some time and attention, kind firmness and time to allow him to trust and you will have his love and loyalty forever. He has never shown any aggression whatsoever.
George would thrive in an active, loving, caring family or with a guardian who understands his needs. He requires daily sufficient exercise, and daily walks to be happy. He'd do best in an adult only home or with older kids because of his size.
George is about two and half years old and weighs about 70 lbs. He is utd and neutered.
