My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rocket---a very unique dog! He is around one year old and is a Boxer /Wired Hair Terrier mix. Rocket is very well behaved. He sits and shakes. He is working on “down” but doesn’t get it every time. You only have to tell Rocket to get to in his crate and he’ll gladly go. He loves to play with other dogs and is great with kids. Rocket does get excited when you first enter the room and will try to put his paws on your chest. While he is gentle we are still working on this behavior. Before he entered the Paw Connections Rescue he was left to roam his neighborhood. One of volunteers picked him up after he was almost hit by a car. He was taken back to his owners multiple times but they did not care that he was running loose. When he was contained he was left on a lead outside with a pet carrier as his only shelter. Paw Connections offered to take Rocket and his owners gladly signed him over. Please help us find the loving home Rocket deserves!
