My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Penny, and I was born in a storage shed. There is a round copper-colored spot on the back of my neck -- my penny. My Mommy is a pure tabby, but all five of us are tuxedo tabbys, so Daddy surely was a tuxedo. We lived in the shed for four weeks, with the nice people feeding Mommy so we would have enough to eat. Then, when we were big enough to do without so much natural milk, we went to live at a rescue.

We really love people. Kids who live near the rescue play with us for ours, and we just sit in their laps and enjoy the attention. Sometimes we roll over for tummy rubs, and sometimes we nibble on fingers (but not too hard).

We will each be free (to a good home) if we are neutered. The rescue provides some of the vet expenses. (Adoption policy is below.)

I hope you will want to meet me and maybe take me home to live with you.

We are too tiny for shots now, but the rescue will provide them when we are old enough.
