My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clara is a Maltese mix who is an estimated 10 years old. She was recently found roaming Prospect Park all by herself. A good Samaritan scooped Clara up, brought her home and contacted us to find her a home.

This little 9 pound darling is just that: a little darling! She is the sweetest little angel of a dog who could not hurt a fly. So why someone wanted to hurt her by discarding her so easily is beyond us. She has so much love to give. While she enjoys the company of other dogs both big and small, she loves people the most, latching on to whomever is caring and feeding for her.

There's no doubt about the fact that we think Clara would make a wonderful companion to someone who is looking for an older dog to provide a loving home to.

Clara is up to date on her shots, is heartworm negative and microchipped. Clara is not yet spayed (but will be soon) and will also be getting a dental. To meet Clara please fill out our application: www.reefuge.org/application
