Hi, I’m Lucy... a beautiful 9-lb., 7-year-old, black and red purebred Dachshund. I am the most loving, lazy dog you'll ever meet! You will often find me in the sunniest spot in my house or yard. I love to chew (toys only), lay in the yard, bark "hello" to anyone walking past, and chase bunnies! I am a true lap dog... if you're sitting down I'll be sitting on you or next to you, or as close as i can get to you. I am crate trained, housetrained, and get along with other dogs. I need to be re-homed with my brother Linus so he doesn't get lonely. Could we be the perfect addition to your family?

Lucy is spayed, current on her Rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccines, and is on Heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $150.00.

Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial adoption period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!
