AMMO IS AVAILABLE TO AN ADOPTER LOCAL TO CRESSON PA ONLY. Ammo came to BTN when his original owner passed away and the child in the home reached out to us. The family had plans to shoot him. We named him Ammo to sort of thumb his nose at his old life. Ammo had an infection that wouldn't go away in his leg. Further investigation revealed that the poor dog had a zip tie tied around his leg for so long that the bone had grown overtop.....Today Ammo is happy and healthy and is learning to trust people. He's shy and scared and has to learn to trust. Ammo would do best with an experienced boxer owner in a quiet home. He is neutered, current on his shots and microchipped.

Once Ammo trusts you he is a dream---getting to that point is a challenging journey. It will take a potential adopter weeks of visits---potentially months to gain his trust--once you do he will love you forever.
