Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Annie, or as my foster mum sometimes calls me, Annie Fannie. The vet says I'm a Schnorkie.... a Schnauzer/Yorkie mix. I kinda have a terrier face and the fur on my head curls forward in the most flattering of ways. I've heard some women pay a fortune for a cute hairstyle but mine is free... it just grows that way naturally! My hair color is gray, brown, and black... maybe what humans would call salt and pepper. I've got soft little ears that fold forward except when I'm excited or alert, then my left ear stands straight up... I get a kick out of it every time it happens! I weigh 17 pounds and am on a strict diet to lose 2 pounds to get to a nice svelte 15 pounds, which is what the vet says I should weigh. I've been told (over and over!) of the necessity of keeping the weight off as I'm recovering from knee surgery and my weight did not help matters... ARGH!! Dog food is quite boring, but I guess I'm getting used to it... I mean, what other choice do I have!?!
On my ideal day you'll usually find me relaxing on the couch... No, I'm not a couch potato, but I do enjoy zenning out on my back in a nice meditative slumber. I very much adore going on walks and hanging out with my pet parent too, so plan for lots of you and me time! My foster mum loves the fact I'm completely potty trained and will let you know when I need to go out. The only complaint I've ever heard is that I can be a wee bit over-protective of my human. Hey, it's in my nature to be on alert!! But, I'm also intelligent and obedient... I'll be at your service if you spend the time teaching me what I need to know. Patience, love, and kindness is what I'm looking for... are you the right PAWtner for me?
