My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oswald, AKA Ozzie! Ozzie is a lovable, charming, 8 month old neutered male lilac tabby. Never heard of a Lilac Tabby? Not surprising as it is rather rare to see a Lilac tabby. Lilac coloring is more typically seen as the color points on a Siamese but not as the main body color! Unfortunately the color is not real clear in these photos but you are in for a treat when meeting him in person. The color looks like a mix between, grey, brown, and purple. Very unique!

Ozzie has the look and personality similar to a Rex type breed or Wedgie Siamese type. His coat is different in that it is the undercoat only without any outer or guard hairs. Typically cat's coats have 2 layers but Ozzie only has one making him irresistibly soft and velvety like a bunny that doesn't shed!!!!

Similar to the Rex breeds or a Wedgie Siamese breed he has large eyes and bat-like ears which give him an adorable look to go with his curious, intelligent, adorable, social, and playful personality.

For personality Ozzie is very social and curious. He likes to check out what you are doing and keep tabs on you every minute. As so clearly seen in his photos he has an intensely curious face and intense interest in the world around him. He has a robust purr that sounds like a motorboat the minute he is petted. He is a huge sucker for chin scratches and head rubs. He is quite affectionate and likes to lay by you or on you and hang out with you. He will seek you out and come to you for affection and love. Due to an incredibly social personality Ozzie does require a home where he will not be left alone for long periods of time or he will be sad :-( A home alone with a working human all day would not be a good fit for him unless he has a companion to keep him company while you are gone such as either a dog or cat. Ozzie has lived with both small and large dogs and other cats most of his life and does very well with them. Ozzie is a bit skeptical with strangers for the first few minutes he meets them. However, if given a few minutes to warm up to strangers his CHARMING self soon shines through. Ozzie is very sensitive to forceful handling so would not do well in a home where he is expected to be a teddy bear or where the humans want to otherwise force themselves and their love on him. He is very intelligent and is the type who will hold a grudge if he is handled in a rough manner or accidently kicked etc. If you handle him in a gentle, loving, respectful manner though he is an AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING companion. He is still very much kitten so lots of cute play energy and cute kitten antics to entertain you but yet such a gentle and well mannered kitten at the same time.

He has lived with small dogs and other cats and is wonderful with both. He uses his litter box perfectly. He has been indoors his entire life; he has never been outdoors.

Ozzie gets a 5 star rating from his foster home. All 4 members of his foster home are completely smitten by him. He truly is the perfect cat in ways too numerous to count. Whomever gets to adopt this little guy will be the luckiest sucker on Earth! I love to watch friends and visitors to the house check him out and wonder to myself how long it will take him to cast a spell of them as well and they fall head over heals for him too :-) He has successfully charmed all of my friends that have been over to visit already!

Ozzie's one and ONLY fault is that he will require a feeding schedule and food rationing as he really does love food! He will make himself sick from eating too much if he is not rationed along with keeping the human food out of reach. Other than that he is a total sweetheart and extraordinarily perfect in every way!

Ozzie is currently in a foster home that fosters only one pet at a time, has no pets of their own, spoils their foster kitties rotten, therefore knows their personality inside and out and guarantees you are taking home a healthy kitty. All Last Hope animals come with a health guarantee.
Adoption Fee $180 Contact Kim at 651-452-7564 or kzotty15@msn.com to meet Ozzie in his Eagan foster home. Ozzie will not be attending adoption events.
