Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Willy is a 18 month old neutered short hair male cat that looks like a very fluffy pure white polar bear with one very tiny blob of grey on the top of his head. He is super social, loving, fun, loaded with personality, super healthy, and uses the litter box perfectly. He is a huge cat as a 15-16 pound hunk of love! He truly looks like a fluffy polar bear.
Willy was originally rescued as a free cat to give away last winter from Craigslist as the landlord found out about him and said he had to go. Since then he has been stuck in Last Hope's system in a small room without humans. He was with some other cats who beat him up scratching up his face pretty bad. He has been moved away from other cats but is still secluded to a small room away from humans. Willy LOVES people and activity. He LOVES being the center of attention and enjoying the activity of life. He has been living this boring life now for 6 months! He wants a home and people to love of his own so bad! Would you have a place in your heart and home for a super outgoing kitty?
Willy might be OK with kids provided they were very respectful and did not pull his tail, legs, or try to carry him around forcing him to be a teddy bear or do things he did not want to do. While he is a super sweet boy and loves attention and is OK with adults touching, carrying him and doing stuff with him, he is a very assertive cat and I would have to guess that if someone were pushing his buttons he probably would let them know their place.
Our observations of Willy is a super fun kitty loaded with personality and fun and games that acts more like a super happy, friendly, fun and games lab puppy than a cat. This is why Willy truly needs to get out of his current situation ASAP and into someone's heart and life where he can entertain guests, be the life of the party, and enjoy a more social stimulating environment; using his talents doing what only he can do best.
The perfect home for Willy would be one that might want an outgoing cat that will greet guests at the door and be happy to entertain them. Someone who wants a dog like individual that is highly social. Willy has been miserable the last 6 months not having human companionship and people to love on and show off to. Could you save Willy from a life of misery and boredom? Willy has lived with other cats but can be rather annoying to them and will most likely be dominant. So if he went to a home with another cat it would need to be easy going enough to put up with his antics yet assertive enough not to allow Willy to bully them. He has been with small and large dogs in the past and did well with them so could potentially go to a home with a dog. He would most definitely be the boss of the relationship though :-) He has never been outdoors. A home as an only pet would work really well for him with lots of people to entertain and love on would probably be the best fit for him.
For questions or to meet Willy in his current Rosemount location contact Kim 651-452-7564 or kzotty15@msn.com. Adoption Fee $125 Willy will not be attending adoption events.
