Here's what the humans have to say about me:
all shots up-to-date (including rabies)/neutered/heartworm negative -- 9 mos. to 1 year old
Cadbery was brought to the shelter with his litter mate Chubs. His owner was no longer able to take care of them as he mentioned his wife was just incarcerated. According to the information given by the owner Cadbery is pad trained, was an inside dog with a doggy door available. Owner said Cadbery does know some commands, sit/halt and the owner used a cow bell to call the dogs inside. Right now it is sometimes difficult to tell what this little guy knows. He is so frightened being at the shelter -- he just lost his home and also just lost his sibling who was adopted. Now he is all alone in such a strange place.He is very shy and takes awhile to warm up to new people. He needs to be slowly introduced to new people.He probably would do best as an only dog. He does not need to be with small children. He needs a home where he can receive lots of love and attention as it will take time for him to ever trust again.His first meet n' greet did not go well as he just wanted to cower down and get under the car. Can you be the person who can help him trust and love once again? Shelter will be closing by Nov 1, 2015 and Cadbery needs a home as soon as possible.
