My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy was found as a stray, running down a road. Who ever owned him, did not care enough to look for him. He is a SUPER sweet boy and doing very well in his training. We believe he is a mix or Irish Wolfhound and some other terrier type dog. He is cute and fluffy -- but big. He currently weighs about 55 lbs, but we expect he will fill out some. Sammy would do best in a home with a large yard for him to run and play in. He is an energetic guy. We prefer to place dogs in homes with older kids due to the high rate of returns when placing with young children. This is on a case by case basis depending on the individual situation. Sammy is crate trained and doing well with his housebreaking. There is a reasonable adoption fee for Sammy to cover his vetting. For more information, contact us at marylandanimalrescue@aol.com
