My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oso came to us as an owner surrender along with mates, Scotty and the first day, he was so afraid and hung back in the kennel growling. But Oso has a soft spot, he loves treats! In no time he became outgoing and eager to meet us. The folks who surrendered him claim the dogs were left there by someone who returned to Mexico, but the surrender questionnaire says they were given to them by an Aunt. we think the boys had a tough time living in a filthy garage, because of their condition. Oso is 5-6 years old, and we look forward to getting to know him better so we can find him a loving home!

Pupdate - Oso was very good for his testing with the trainer, but that was because he was given time (and treats!) to get to know her. He is so loving and friendly with her now. He was good for a brushing on the parts of him that were not matted, but he does need some big matts cut out of his fur. With regular brushing, a Pom's coat will stay matt free. He was great on the leash, couldn't get enough treats, and was very good with the office cats. He did not approach strangers, but neither did he growl or aggress towards them. He becomes very focused on his handler.

Oso's adoption fee is $150 and includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance, and custom engraved ID tag.
