My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is an adorable, red and tan purebred Doberman coming into rescue due to recent divorce and his caregiver works 12 plus hours a day and Bear is being crated for these long hours and his owner feels he deserves what he is not able to give him, a family who will spend lots of time with him. Bear is 1 year 9 months, born on 3/17/14 and was purchased from a Pennsylvania back yard breeder, he is coming to us from Mifflin County, PA. He is neutered, crate trained and housebroken, knows his basic commands and is great with almost all dogs, he is a hyper playmate, and is on the larger scale of size himself, however fit and energetic as most young males are, he also is good with children and cats. Bear is a people person and loves car rides too. Bear has had a wellness exam, microchip and update to his vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Lyme and Lepto), he is currently taking Heartgard Plus as his preventative and is receiving Frontline Plus as his flea/tick preventative as well. Bear is in need of continued training and a fenced in yard, this handsome young man does know his sit, down, give paw, and wait for the food bowl to be set down and release to eat. He will need a walking harness and continued training on his leash skills as well. If you are able to consider opening your heart and home to Bear, you may download and application by going to FureverhomesDobermanRescue.org and clicking on the Adoption tab.
