Jayda has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!


Jayda is a beautiful calico rat terrier and weighs about 12 pounds. She was skin and bones, and waited at the shelter for 10 months for her family, who never came. Our vets think she is between 2 and 4 years old, and is housebroken, crate trained, and very smart! Jayda learned the double pet door in her new foster home in seconds. She is playful and loves to fetch a ball or a toy. She will sleep in her crate, but much prefers burrowing under the bed covers like a proper rat! Jayda gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, but will protect a chewie by giving the canine offender a little bat on the nose to set them straight. Jayda would do well in almost every home situation, and has a wonderful spirit. For more pictures of Jayda, click here.



Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $150. Puppies under six months are $175.
