My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is a 1 year old male Bluetick Coonhound. He is the biggest lovebug and just loves to snuggle and cuddle. He is a large sized dog and has medium energy for his age. He needs some leash training but is getting much better even in his short time here. He gets along with other dogs and kids (7+ just because of his size). He is a great dog! Come down and visit Blue!

$150 Adoption Fee for all Dogs and Puppies. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a heartworm/lymes test (for adults), microchip, and all age appropriate vaccinations. (Puppies are too young for the test but will be started on preventative.)

SHELTER HOURS: 1:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday - Thursday; 12:00pm – 4:00pm Friday and Saturday; 1pm-4pm Sunday; Closed Monday. We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or outside the state of Virginia. The application process is completed in person at the shelter.
